Less people suggesting things for an engine that won't be released untill 2012 and more people that understand the difference between an engine and a game.

if you dident understand its what people wants the engine to support
for exmple a game cant have destuctible enviorments if the engine
doesent support it.

It should have your mum.
Or possibly a filter for the aforementioned failjoke. >.>
I very much doubt that we'll be able to predict how PCs are/what they're capable of in whenever CE3 is released.

A more modern, in terms of GUI and usability and such, editor. Also, better destructibility and a better feeling to the engine

By 2012 we could very possibly be running Graphene chips instead of Silicon chips, in which case... photo-realism could be achievable.
My biggest request would be completely destructible environments (the trees where cool, but now apply that to the big concrete buildings, bridges, etc). That, and terrain deformation. After that, anything extra is just icing on the cake (dynamic weather would be cool too).

Already in CE2, albeit somewhat limited.

hmmm photorealism would be insane...when u make a model ud have to pay attention to every little detail though (e.g. hair, clothes, etc.)
(By the way...I'm pretty sure CE3 will be for pc's also)
