Introduction:
This is my first crysis modification / leveldesign demo. Early 2008 i started creating Etherica from scratch. Build around a medieval mansion which today is a art and design school. First goal was to recreate the original scenery and extend it with custom locations using Cryteks beautiful engine.
During the process i learned a lot! From creating models with XSI Mod Tool, making textures, tweaking and tuning the TimeOfDay, and so on. Crymod.com always was the place to get my questions answered. Thank you everyone! Making Etherica was a great experience.
Download and install the mod and enjoy. Explore Etherica and take some nice screenshots, will you?
Special thanks go to:
michi:be for his great "european nature set"
the exodus team for their "pine tree pack"
factorX for the bare hands
cry-vlok for the flowgraph plugin system
jlim for the torchlight
my girlfriend for her patience
christian for some neat garden work
matthias for the sound recordings
katharina for her voice
the whole crymod staff and all members for the great support and nice comments. you rock!
Hey, nice work there, guess you should add, on pic 5, a red Ferrari, two dogs, a guy called Higgins and replace Nomad by a cool guy wearing a flower shirt and a big moustache
Really nice

WOW.
I can't believe it...it's the RA!!! Dude are you studying there? I studied there '95 to '99. This is just great. I will follow your progress eagerly awaiting the release of a crysis level of my former artschool.
Keep up the good work!
Regards,
A.

its rather a mod than just a level. it tells a own story but will truly be a homage to the beautiful environment there

Ah, nice to hear that. I wish your all the best with your diploma. Looks devinitaly great so far.
As I planned to revisit the akademie for a long time, but never managed to do so, I think I will go there in April now
BTW: is H.still there? And D. B. still teaching?
And you are right: It really is a beautiful environment.

Great man, just great. My only suggestion for the above pic is the building on the right, the texture needs some more variation/detail/dirt.
But your mod looks so atmospheric its great!
