Star Wars "A Day in a Life". Feat. TK-501 (update: ON HOLD)
STAR WARS
"A DAY IN A LIFE"
Featuring TK-501
UPDATE: I'm sorry to announce that this mod will be on hold for a while. I have yet again got a new job (2nd in the space of like 2 monthes) , which pays much more
, but has longer hours. Therefore I'm not gonna have enough time to setup A Day in a Life for a while. The job is only temporary - I would probably quit it for summer anyway - so the mod is definitely not dead ( yea, I know, everyone says that, but its true
).
In the meantime I have joined Sir Barons Productions to help create X32I. My job will give me enough freetime to create assets for it. Unfortunately it wouldn't leave me enough time to get the ground work for A Day in a Life sorted.
Sorry to those that have been looking forward to A Day in a Life, but I guess you'll just have to follow the advice of the Jedi .... and have patience. Tho, its not like there is a shortage of Star Wars mods going around
After much deliberation on which mod idea to pursue and which engine to pursue it on , I am hereby announcing "Star Wars: A Day in a Life". It will be released for Crysis, utilizing CryEngine 2.

Tantive IV (Corelian Corvette) WIP:
This model was splendidly created by HaVoC373. We plan to add a bit more detailing to give it that "Cryengine2 finish" , as it was ,initially, created for another engine. As you can imagine , this creation will be the 1st model you will see in A Day in a Life.

RE: Star Wars "A Day in a Life". Feat. TK-501
it's a bit of a broken record, but licensing.. licensing.. LICENSING! First Strike mod for BF2142 had to obtain authorization from Lucas which also stipulated that all material and code be open source and all major characters from the movies were off-limits. Before going any further address the issue above as they will actively protect their I.P.

RE: Da' Force War
Well, it was a joke...and no it is not A jedi knight mod......its everything you can think of in the star wars universe....like a jedi weilding a gun and a saber....we don't want to restrict the gameplay for the player in anyway so we let him do pretty much anything. Though lets get off of my mod and start talking about Bandu's!

RE: Da' Force War
Hey Bandu,
I was a huge fan of the First Strike Mod, and I'm sure with CryEngine 2 this will be even better. I wish you great success on your mod

I did indeed. Gametoast was the place to be about 5 years ago. Oh the memories
I quite enjoyed SWBF1. Quickly became dis-interested in SWBF2 tho.

theres so many geat possibilities with this mod. we can see star wars battles the way we've never seen them done in the original trilogy. do you think you'll make landing craft and stormtroopers with a little more variety like dirt and ranks.
