Saw some of these at game-artist, they look really awesome, although the blue one emmiting the yellow ball well the metal scrathes seem a bit too blobby to me. B

Whats the most recent asset meant to be? If it's meant to be placed on a wall, then the Release Lock would both be the same way up rather than rotated 180 degrees.

edit:

Forgot to mention that you've improved hugely since initally joining Crymod!

Wow man, that's epic ! Incredible work you got there. A lot of times renders and ingame work doesn't match very nicely, but yours on the other hand ....epic !

If you have any links to any tutorials, please pm'em, I would love to learn how to create something like that Tongue

hahaha .. ingame and renders ? its ALL "realtime" aka ingame Tongue (cryengine | marmoset toolbag )

create something like THAT - refering to the model or texture ?

i thought about doing a tutorial about THAT.. but the thanks and appreciation i got for my last tutorial was quite slim.. wasnt even in the news Tongue most people probably forgot about it already Happy

@ guybrush.. ..its not mounted on a wall
its somekind of something like a recharger or mount to keep the cylinder (volatile fuel/unstable energy cell ) locked (magnetic force field or whatever )

I know that ingame is realtime rendered (most features are), while renders (or pre-rendered) is not calculated very second by your GPU Smile

As for THAT, I meant the textures. There very nicely done Red Face

i hate it when people say "i just did a few exercises" or "this is just a quick scene i whipped up in 10 mins, no effort etc" and then when you look at the pictures your brain explodes from the detail.
