I don't think you'll even encounter any problems with your installation. I think my only problem is that my no cd .exe is from 1.0 and my newly installed files are 1.0 If I reinstalled it would probably be fine, which is what I'll do later this week.

Those bugs are because of the No Cd crack. The no cd crack causes many many bugs that don't normally occur in the normal game. My roommate has the no cd crack and has so many bugs it's insane, while I don't and I have no bugs whatsoever really.

Im ready to release the new Version 1.2 but you'll have to wait for the patch #2,
because The AI-Navigation generate is currently bugged.
* Fixed AI jumping of the Cliffs
* Added VTOL at the End
* Added Outro
* Adjusted the Grass to look more natural
* Added sounds for more realistic feeling
* Added Animals for more realistic feeling
* Fixed some Shadow Issues on Brushes
* Optimised the Performance a little bit [~ 40 FPS on high for me]

#2 patch could be ages away (or not?)
Anyway until then...I shall finally play this map as it is on my new comp. Couldnt play it well last time xD

Is there a reason why all the tree's and stuff are erm "unbreakable"?

Yep ist because the "Add Vegetation to Texture" feature is messed up. I dunno why they
didnt include the physics but its sad...
Need to fix that damn trigger issue -.-'

Yeah, it would be much more fun if your car wasn't stopped/blown-up by twig-thick trees.
I'm going to reinstall without patching later tonight, and I'll tell you what happens.

I played it earlier and the scenery was really good, but the gameplay was just really generic.

The map is brilliant, both in visual and gameplay qualities! I was espacially surprised that it played that well, even though there were no real missions, mission points etc.
But there are two things I wanted to ask:
1.) Is it normal that the enemy APC never reaches the last camp? I got the LAW and the message "Enemy APC approaching" is repeated several times, but it doesn't show up.
I took the last pickup and drove to the end of the road --> The End (even though there were some korean guys waiting for me...are you planning to continue the story??). Never encountered an APC on this last road.
2.) Is the LOD working a different way on this map? The landscape seems to be "bald" when I move several hundered meters away. I've seen singleplayer levels with even greater distances where the bushes and trees didn't disappear.

I can understand why the far away camp has no LOD of the vegetation, but see the one right? This shouldn't disappear that quickly, should it?

I liked it... thought you did a good job with the jungle but as GODzilla mentioned a lot of the vegetation didn't render at longer distances and that felt odd.
