I won't say "great" map, but it's not bad : beautiful map with objectives, but too short, and the americans at the end have stupid moves, walking face against the cliffs. First I tried to launch it with medium settings, it was awful, without vegetation.

I'm liking the lighting... kinda like a dream. I was half expecting a Velociraptor to jump out and attack me.

of the americans, but why dont they just stay there fighting? lol...

Fantastic looking map!
A suggestion though, don't use the Suit-NK with the rocket launchers. For some reason, they have infinite ammo and fire a missle out every 2 seconds, which is REALLY annoying to fight.

Just finished it and two words, absolutely amazing. I found this level to be far better than any original SP level. I wish the original SP levels had more levels like this, this is a top notch level. Lighting/graphics are the best I have seen, intense and very interesting atmosphere.
Overall 9/10, missing one because of length. I really hope the author will pump more levels like this out, I love it so much.

Really good map. I loved the lightning, the color of the water, and the textures in general. they were nice and fresh. No objectives isn't bad, because you just follow the road, so you do not get lost.
If you would make this map larger, it would be really good.

Its a good start, man!
Here's my constructive criticism:
Level Design:
-Tropical forests and jungles in real life can be lush and abundant, very hard to travel on, but remember this is a game first and an ecosystem second. While the terrain vegetation was lush, the AI ignored a lot of it to shoot at me and navigate almost perfectly, while a human player has the realistic limitation. I would either reduce the foliage a wee-bit, or somehow(sounds like a lot of work) provide much more invisibility in those tall grasses.
-Never make a map which can get you stuck easily! Some of those roads were HARD to navigate on(hard curves!), in the ensuing engagement against a nanosuit, I fell from a cliff and slid to safety. Couldn't get back up. Nothing too serious.
Art:
Tiny comments on detail, its purely visual and doesn't destroy the fun.
-Sand underwater is mostly fine. Also the sand near the water. The texture you have is usually in more inland sand. Check out the levels in crysis, particularly the first level(island). Great reference.
-The waves are from the open sea. You'll never find waves that high near the coast unless its a hurricane or storm(I understand the wave control in sandbox 2 might not be the best).
-The HDR is too high!: I have a 3000:1 contrast monitor, and its pretty well calibrated. The glow in those mountain sides are just too bright. Doesn't burn my eyes, but at points I couldn't even spot my targets.
GREAT level, though. I wasn't expecting a small intro video

whats the trigger problem you spoke of?
and someone mentioned buildings without shadows, that is correct. saw a few without their own shadows but were receiving shadows from trees etc.

the map is great and this is the first time I felt like playing another real SP level the way it originally was.
here are some tips:
1- Loved the Hud interaction with the player, please keep that always
2- some huge lightning differences kept me tweaking my ssao settings everytime. like someone said, it's about the asphalt and some buildings
3 - After the message get a LAw, I saw an APC falling from the road. It was hillarious but it wasn't supposed to happen = ]
4 - After the message get a law, I kept going forward and suddenly I completed the level, without battling the APC. You should do the "trigger" after the APC battle, and put a vtol with some guys behind, so the players really feel safe and knows he ended the level.
5-MORE!
6- edit: loved the nanosuit guys too! in the original SP I hated the idea of meeting them, here I get fun and tatical firefights.
7- MOREEE!
8- edit: forgot this one: some poor korean guy felt from the road and was alone down there, I coudn't help him more than giving him a sniper headshot. Spare those poor koreans from those situations = ]

Holy ****, I have been having a great experience with your sharks, as a result of two bugs I have experienced. This could be because I just patched my copy, and then used one of those no cd .exe mods since my disc got really scratched up when I lent it to a friend, or could be the map, I'm not sure.
Anyway, first off when a shark killed me the first few times I tried out the map I would re spawn as a crippled man lying on the ground looking at the text spawn successful, which it obviously was not since I was a comatose vegetable at that point. Not a fun experience, but of shark origins nonetheless.
Secondly, I have encountered a brave and fearsome breed of landsharks in the game. After killing one of their water dwelling cousins, they obviously became enraged with me and hovered after me in hopes of vengeance.

HOLY **** A SHARK, GET IN THE CAR!

With them swimming after me as I cruised down the roads, I wondered if they could kill me while in-car but I couldn't risk the time my previous problem presented me.

Running out of shotgun and pistol ammo, I had to resort to precision rifle shots which I had picked up up the slope from the first lake. The only warning I had of another shark approaching was a suspiciously familiar splashing noise.

And the spoils of my voyage, draped over a carrier crate.

haha thats hilarious... I think these problems are made by the 1.1 patch, cause i didnt
really had any of them back in the day... I'll see if I can fix a little bit and release
another version but thats not promised because im currently working on another map.
