You obviously haven't dealt with Crytek mainly.
The updates use to be "soon" which was "the next day".
A tiny bit can easily be 2 weeks away. actually 10 days away since weekends don't count.

Good news everyone!
Crysis Warhead is probably going to be a Console port when reading doozens of different websites concerning that matter.
They hired a lot of Console programmers and presented Cryengine 2 on the PS3 and the XBOX 360 last year,which also makes it more than likely that Crysis Warhead is nothing more than a console port with more content (Just like Far Cry Instincts was)
That means,for us pc gamers, we are being left behind with no additional patch.
They will reveal the "surprise" and show us Crysis on those consoles,HORRAY!
If ANY one of you thinks that they have some big project going on,like a new free MP for Crysis or anything similar,DREAM ON.
They wanna make money,their best chance of doing that is on the conoles right now.
So if you guys loved Crysis,you can play it again on your consoles!!
And pay the full price,again!
WOOOOW! ^^
...probably with lesser cheaters,good news eh?

i thought soon was longer than the next day last time i heard them say soon it was months i havnt heard tiny bit longer from them before so im just guessing that it should be within the weekeither way whatever im kinda already tired of waiting
also if it ends up being a console port then it doesnt matter a DAMN bit to me or the other hardcore pc gamers on here, so if after all this it ends up being a retarded ass console port i will be pissed! consoles are for people not smart enough to build a decent computer. if crytek forgets about us pc users and we will deffinately forget about crytek

Why would they sell 3 million+ copies of Crysis on a PC platform then no longer target that platform considering it's the only customer base they have so far?

It will be the same like last time.
Far Cry,then then later the console port "Far Cry Instincts" which actually was the same game with more content to make it more attractive for the console market.
So we got Crysis and Crysis Warhead will simply be a console port with more content.
That's it,nothing more,nothing less,I'd be very suprised if it was ANYTHING different.
It logical that they drop support for Crysis.
I mean come on,how many online players does Crysis have? I haven't played for weeks,still I check every now and then and only find a handfull of servers in my pingrange and gamemode Powerstruggle.
You think they keep on patching for those few people left?
I wouldn't,Crysis MP is f*cked,they seem to have realized that now ^^

This is just speculation but what if Crysis warhead is all about playing as psycho in the same time as crysis takes place?
In harbor map Strickland tells psycho that he's got a new assignment from JSOC, maybe we get to know what was that "assignment". Perhaps Crysis Warzone will tell us where the heck did Prophet go and how he managed to make that gun..I'd say he has too much of free time, but then again maybe someone else made it to him.
