  Crashed 1.2 SOON! [Singleplayer]

Don't even think about playing this map on low spec systems!
Still got this Trigger problem and it didnt change. If youve got a high spec system
youll propably wont even notice that there are trigger problems lol...

Download

Im tired of this whole trigger problem but if youve got a solution dont hestitate to tell me.

May I make a couple suggestions?

1) your buildings need to be set to cast shadows (and I noticed that the first
building seems to have a light on the ceiling with no source, a light fixture would
be good)

2) it's actually so overly-bright that I had to stop playing after a couple minutes
because it started to make my eyes hurt. Combination of the color of sunlight
with extreme brightness is just a little strange. Is that the HDR setting maxed or
something?

Just my thoughts, otherwise a cool level.

1) my buildings actually cast shadows, i had to set it on when i still had a different ToD Setting o.0
2) Could you post your specs and display settings? Its optimized for "high" and you know
crysis it can always get darker and brighter with different settings -.-

Looks awesome, downloading!

E6850 Duo
4GB RAM
8600GT

Settings All High

I think it's probably not the brightness that got to me, but rather the color
saturation being so 'thick' in the air... if that makes any sense.

looks rly great, but i think my pc wont get it Crying

Crysis doesn't really get less bright at higher settings, the HDR will just dim all the environement except lightsources. All you do is make the default ground colors in Medium spec mode to get that to look right, then go into highspec settings, and adjust the HDR values for map to brighter settings to get the highspec looking just as bright/even with the non-HDR lower settings.

I figured out what it was... and you'll be happy to hear it was really nothing to do
with your map.

My monitor has many preset levels and I almost exclusively work in the "Graphics"
setting which really boosts colors I guess.

By turning the monitor settings down to a "Text" setting, the map looks quite nice.

i played it, it was fun on Delta Difficulty and i like the way the game was set-up, hope you make more, and one more thing, it would have been cool it was a 2 part mission but it was fun

Downloading, this looks so nice!
Edit: How to install by the way Tongue ?

Posted by Sagan on 29.11.2007 at05:59:

@ teude

What I did was this: went to crysis folder >> Game >> levels (just paste folder) and I went to the editor and opened it up by pressing ctrl + g, it worked for me, I don't know if there's an easier way.

Also the map is very good looking, it still stands up pretty well but it needs more work, I personally like it.

try crysis launcher, the you can run it.via game

Posted by Kantholz on 29.11.2007 at09:59:

if you dont want the crylauncher:

just open the game, open the console and type in:

"map Kueste" (without the >> " <<)

Posted by teude on 29.11.2007 at10:49:

Thanks for that Crysis Launcher tip, didn't know that before. Awesome map, but way too bright. I played it on Very High, worked pretty well. And Asphalt was pretty dark in some places.
